In 1989, Nurlan and Karlyga moved to a district center after two years of marriage. They remained childless and decided to adopt a child from an orphanage where Karlyga worked as a caregiver. Meeting different fates and facing adversity in the orphanage changed their lives, thanks to true love.

In the second season Nurlan and Karlyga, along with their two biological children and ten adopted ones, embarks on a mission to provide a joyful life in Kazakhstan. Nurlan firmly declines his neighbor's proposal to participate in an illegal venture, instead favoring honest work. Meanwhile, Karlyga uncovers the adopted children's pasts and plays a crucial role in helping them come to terms with this newfound information.
