The series tells the stories of lives of three generations of one family. Throughout the series,  Abai Kunanbaiuly's famous "Words of Edification" not only vividly describe the events, but also help create associations and connections with the lives of the viewers.  The plot tells a story starting from the 19th century and lasting till our days. There is a parallel line between the stories of the last century and of the present. Abai's timeless wisdom draws an invisible link between the  generations.
